It’s a whole new ballgame. Is your team ready to play?

Instead, clients want suppliers to deliver solutions in the form of actionable business insights. They want your team to dig deep into mountains of data, extract the “golden nuggets” of information, and turn these nuggets into promising new opportunities.
The question is: Do your team members have the skills to thrive in this new environment? If you think they do, you might be surprised. Delta Associates recently tested 850 CPG professionals and found that a full 90% didn’t have the ability to recognize and communicate business insights. Most participants weren’t even close to a passing grade.
The good news is, Delta Associates—a recognized leader in training and consulting for CPG retailers and manufacturers—has developed a certification program guaranteed to change your team’s behavior so that they consistently produce valuable business insights—on a long-term basis. The key is to teach the new skills, then reinforce them until they become ingrained behaviors.
The difference with Delta’s certification is that we are going to administer a timed and proctored exam (on our computers) a minimum of 7 weeks after the last training session. This will ensure the individual can demonstrate the expected behaviors and truly produce the results desired. The individual must score 70% or above to pass the exam in which we use either a 40 or 60 key metrics to score the results. We do not give you a diploma by simply showing up and attending our workshop. That does not prove proficiency. Our exam is designed irrespective of which training programs you attended. In fact, you could pass by simply reading a few books and practicing the skills.
Simply put, there is no better way to ensure that your team consistently performs to a level that meets customer expectations. With certification from Delta, you will know that your team has demonstrated that they have the skills needed to compete in today’s market.
The certification levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold – are designed to correspond with the behaviors and competencies senior management expects.
Bronze Certification (3-hour exam) – Evaluates the individual’s ability to find top-line business insights and effectively communicate them.
Silver Certification (4-hour exam) – Evaluates the individual’s ability to conduct robust data analysis, discover the critical business insights and synthesize into actionable strategies and tactics.
Gold Certification (6-hour exam) – Evaluates the individual’s ability to utilize advanced analytical techniques and statistical tools to develop comprehensive analysis and presentation of insights.
NOTE: Delta Associates, Inc. does not plan at this time to submit our materials to any third party agency for their “certification.” As stated above, our certification process tests the individual’s capabilities. Just because an individual attends our training programs does not make that individual certified by Delta’s standards.
