Managing retail data with Microsoft® Access

Don’t let a sea of data drown your ability to capture critical insights.

Do your data-collection methods decrease productivity in your organization? What if you could automate the acquisition and management of vast amounts of critical data—creating a streamlined process that saves time and prevents errors? What if your key team members could spend more time actually analyzing data, gleaning business insights, and formulating fact-based solutions, rather than completing low-value repetitive tasks that consume a great deal of time?

Fortunately, Microsoft® Access allows you to develop more robust analyses by merging multiple data streams (including Excel files) into a single “managed” data source from which multiple reports can be created. Microsoft® Access minimizes the hassle and time required to keep standard reports up to date. In some cases, many hours of manual spreadsheet manipulation can be condensed into a few minutes of push-button update routines.

But before you can enjoy all the benefits of Microsoft® Access, first you have to learn how to use its full range of functions. That’s where Delta Associates' comes in. We are global leaders in training for the retail industry, and our two-day workshop can quickly bring you up to speed on Microsoft® Access. Our in-class hands-on training exercises use your own data to cement the relevancy and applicability of key concepts.
